## Abstract ##
Add an occurrence specification to elements and fields, as described in http://bugs.bricolage.cc/show_bug.cgi?id=986.

## Proposal ##
This was a Summer of Code project proposal that made the suggested list of SoC 2005. The project is to modify the way elements work so that when a new element is added, a certain number of subelements can already exist. This would also apply to data elements (fields) as well. Taking on this project would give me insight to how the Bricolage project is structured and allow me to become part of an Open Source team where I could continue to contribute after the summer is complete.

## Why Me? ##
During last year's selection, Bricolage was not awarded as many students as they had hoped. Posted on the site was the successful applicants, and those who they also wished to take on. My name was listed for this exact project, and after a year gone by the project remains on the TODO list for Bricolage. With another year's experience under my belt, I feel I am well suited for this position.

## Bio ##
I am currently entering my 5th and final year of a Computer Science degree with a Minor in Music and a Diploma of Sonic Design at Carleton University, Ottawa. I hold a leadership role in the Robotics Club, Game Dev Audio Group, ACM Contest Teams, and the student society for Computer Science. I have interests ranging from AI to audio to robotics, and spend most of my spare time trying to find slick ways of combining all of them into a single project.

I was a successful applicant of Google's Summer of Code 2005, and have since adopted a much deeper understanding of what it takes to create, use, and have fun with Open Source Software. While I have adopted a fair amount of Open Source solutions since last summer, I have not yet had the opportunity to become part of a development community for which I would be well suited. This is my goal for Summer of Code, 2006. More info can be found on my website.
