well, I'm at the vancouver python conference this weekend, and so far it's been fun :) talks about the future of python, python and .Net (eeek, the evil empire! ;)... alcohol and neverputt - a very amusing combination :) and now I'm in the intro to python lecture.

I didn't know a thing about python before this, so it's been.. confusingly intersting. :) looks like a language I might like. met some cool people too, which is slightly more important to me - vanlug meetings have a reputation for being rather dry and boring. perhaps they've scared off all the younger geeks... but now that I've met a few maybe we can start a more interesting lug :)

I should probably stop blogging and go back to learning now. :)
